The parliament and the king pushed catholics.The part of aristocrats devised a plot against the parlament.They wanted to have catholics back.So they wanted to put barrels under the parliament and to blow it up on the 5th of November in 1605.But smb told the king about that. There was no explosion.The ploters were punished.Britain remained Catholic up to this day.
